Oliver's Camp
About
Oliver’s Camp, situated in Tarangire National Park's remote south-east, offers an adventurous safari with abundant comforts.
Close to the game-rich Silale Swamps, it's a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. Post-annual rains in April and May, the landscape transforms into a lush tapestry adorned with wildflowers. August to October witnesses the migration of antelope and zebras, making Tarangire the country's mammal hotspot.
The 10-tent camp, mirroring classic safari setups, provides a relaxed and cozy atmosphere.
The seasoned Oliver’s team cultivates a warm, inviting vibe over years. Small groups can opt for Little Oliver's, a 5-tent enclave a kilometer away.
Accomodation
Ten en suite tents, blending with the earth-toned landscape, offer twin or king-sized beds. Bathrooms boast flushing toilets and indoor/outdoor showers. Relax on your private deck with a cold drink, embracing the African bush's tranquility.

Experiences
At Oliver’s, you have the opportunity to head out into the park at night. You can stay out later if you’ve spotted something interesting or head back into the bush after dinner to spot nocturnal animals.

And for the early birds it is possible to do a walking safari. The Oliver's Camp expert guides, accompanied by an armed national park ranger for safety, will lead fascinating walking safaris that allow you to stop and examine the small things — ants, termites, dung beetles — often overlooked on a drive.
